NOTICE: Fort Hays State University has announced the permanent closure of the museum effective December 18, 2026. Along with several supporters, we are working to keep the museum open to the public for years to come, however, we need your help.
Membership purchases through December 18 will be accepted as donations to help keep the museum open.
If we meet our goal, your benefits will continue uninterrupted for the next 12 months.
If we do not meet our goal and the museum closes, your ASTC benefits will expire as of December 31, 2026, but your donation will continue to support the museum's collections.

- This tee features an original work by artist Levi Hastings with his take on Tylosaurus, one of our Kansas state fossils! For this custom artwork, we asked Levi to capture a feeling of comfortable tranquility for this giant predator. Swimming the Cretaceous Seaway with serene determination, we wanted to show this incredible animal outside the moments of aggression that usually define their depictions. This design was originally commissioned for our 2025 staff shirts, and we hope you find the same strength and splendor as the wonderful people who make our programs come to life for our students!
